Normandy D-Day Landings

You cannot think about Normandy without the D-day landings coming to mind, and with the easy access to the motorway the beaches and museums are just a couple of hours drive, closer to Pontorson are the American Cemetery at St Jamesand the German cemetery at Mont de Huisnes, both very different but equally emotional.

Granville & St Lo

Two of the biggest towns in Manche, St Lo the admisitrative city of Manche and Granville a sea port.


Beaches

As you would expect there are numerous beaches in both Normany and Brittany with very different coastlines.

The long sandy beaches of Carrolles & Jullivilleand Brehal and the Rocky coastlines around the Point du Grouin and St Malo are all within a 45 minute drive.
